Loretta: I am always delighted to find a new cousin, wish you had found me before I published my book, you all would have been in it. My primary focus was, of course, on the Staley family as my mother is a Staley..I have them back to Switzerland, but do not have the Ekas family back before Joseph as I do not descend from them. There is a woman in Rochester, New York who has done considerable work on the Ekas family. I am moving and If I can find her easily, I will send y ou her name, she is, as I remember, Loretta Welch As I was not interested, I sent her to some people in Butler/Allegheny Co. who also dedscended from the Ekas line. I remember her name, but not theirs, surely I can find it. I hope so. I also have Jane's mother's family traced back as well. Do you know all of the children of Jane and Joseph???
