Of course, I've already noticed that there was Alois in the family later (was it his real name, or just an official one?), and the possibility that he had been named after some of his elder relatives is one more argument in favor of relation between Michael and Johann Eisner's families.
Have you got any futher information about Michael's origin and ancestors? Looks like he didn't live in Horažd'ovice as late as 1793 (in a report I have seen there are listed only Michael E i s l e r with son and Abraham Eisner)?
