BERNARD WENT INTO THE REV WAR FROM LANCASTER CO. MILITA, AS A PRIVATE,IN 1882. HE ENDED UP AS A CAPT. UNDER GENERAL ANTHONY WAYNE.THEY SAY HIS CLAIM TO FAME WAS WHEN HE HELD GEORGE WASHINGTON'S HORSE WHEN HE WENT INTO A MEETING.----VERIFIED BY SENATE DOCUMENTS VOL 3. 81ST CONGRESS---2ND SESSION--JAN 3, 1950--JANUARY 2, 1951
REPORT OF THE DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION. HENRICH WAS NOT LISTED IN WASHINGTON, DC. THEY SAID TO CHECK PA. ARCHIVES BUT NOBODY HAS FOUND HIM. HE PROBABLY JUST LEFT TO JOIN UP WITH ARMY UNOFFICALLY. IF YOU WOULD LIKE ANYMORE INFO ,PLEASE FEEL FREE TO E-MAIL ME.
