Penny, I have been looking at census data for Harrison County and am pretty sure one John Eisenbarger is son of Old Martin Eisenbarger but I find two John Eisenbarger names in the 1920 census and would like some sort of Explanation. You seem quite knowledgeable.
I find two John Eisenbargers living in Harrison County at one time or another. Right at the moment I am looking at 1920 census of Harrison co., Ed 117 sheet 4A which is Washington Twp.
Family 64 is John M(?) Eisenbarger born in Iowa and wife Ada Born in born in Mo He age 43 and she 39
children Audria J son
Leland V son
Vodra L dau
Edna M dau
Next door in Family 65 is John Eisenbarger age 67 born in PA Wife, Cora is not plain but saw it at another site. Contains children Oscar, Cora, Loid, (Lloyd) and Roy. plus three grand children.
Nina B Edwards, Paul R George (died in California I think) Glenn D George
I do would like to know if the two John Eisenbarger's are related and if so how??
