Ira Bird married my grandmother Ada VanHoozer Eisenbarger. I am Mary Lee's daughter and I always remember what a tease "Bird" (everyone called him that) could be. Whenever I got dressed up and walked past him, he would grab my skirt and act like he was going to blow his nose in my skirt. He did it just to tease me as he knew it would make be fighting mad. He made me a wooden toy box which I still have in the basement. I have pictures of him and grandma.
