I am looking for any info on Christian Carl Eisele. The middle name is spelled Carl on his passport but he may have sometimes spelled it Karl. He came from Germany in 1852. I have his old passport. His son (my great grandfather) was born in New York I think. I have some old letters in my possesion hand written in old German that may yeild some clues if I can locate someone locally to translate them. I think they lived in the Delhi Ontario Canada area at one time since one of the letters has a Delhi Post Office address. My gerat grandfather married a Meretta Wiltse in Canada and later moved to Knoxville TN where they are both buried beside my grandfather Leroy Carl Eisele. They documents I have are in very rough shape so I have scanned them in an attemt to preserve the info.
