Hello everyone I'm David L. Campbell Jr. grandson of Earnest Woodrow Campbell (grandson of Charles August Einert and Anna Marie Rettstatt). Just trying to figure out where all yall fit in at. Seems by some of the names yall posted my tree has some holes. The David Campbell who posted on here before is my dad by the way. Here is what I have on the Einert family.

Clarksville,Johnson Co. Arkansas. He married ANNA MARIE RETTSTATT February 01, 1877 in Pennslyvania,
daughter of GOTTLIEB RETTSTATT and MARIE LEY. She was born March 13, 1856 in Wuertemberg,Germany,
and died February 26, 1941 in Clarksville, Johnson Co. Arkansas.

Charles Albert(August) Einert age 46 and the family lived in Arkansas, married Anna Marie Rettstatt, was
age 24,there children Mary age 2, and Belle age 1.
Fed Census 1900 Johnson Co. Arkansas Charles had passed away. Anna ( Anah ) and Her children still at
home were; Carl 17, Manerva B. 15, Caroline B. 11, Willie ( William ) R. 9, and Henry H. 6. Henry was a
baby when Charles died.
Anna Marie Rettstatt was born in Germany, March 13, 1856. Her parents moved to Pennsylvania,U.S.A. near
MT. Pleasant, with her and the other children when she was six months old. Her parents told her, when she
was older, about how they came close to losing their lives in a storm at sea on there journey to the United
States.
She married Charles Alfred Einert in Pennsylvania, He was born in Germany and came to the United States
with his father at age 21. he was educated in Germany. All of these were members of the Lutheran Church.
Charlie and Anna had seven children: Mary, Belle, Carl, Minerva, Caroline,Willie ( Will ) and Henry, Mary
and Belle was born in Smithton, PA. while they were young children, around 1880, Charlie and Anna Marie,s
brother, Fred Rettstatt, were transferred from coal Minning in Pennsylvania to Sparta Mine in Johnson Co.
Arkansas, south of Clarksville. This was in the early days of Minning there.
both men moved their families. Charlie was a machinist in the mining . Three children were born there,
maybe 4. they were Carl, Manerva, Caroline, and Willie. ( Willie may have been born after they left Sparta.)
The family suffered much with malaria while they lived there. They decided to move to the foothills; north of
Clarksville. They moved to the MT. Vernon Community, where they bought homestead rights a farm from a
couple named LaRue. Henry Einert was born there Feb. 29, 1894. Charlie Einert died November,
Thanksgiving time. that same year, Henry was ten months old. Charlie died of Pneumonia, which developed
from injuries sustained when his oxen team ran away with him while he was hauling lumber to continue the
remodeling and addition work that he was doing on there house. He was buried on the home place.( there is a
large rock , with Charles Einert engraved on it. which is now grown up in woods, but is still in tack, and can
read the rock very well, the fench which at one time was around the grave has been long gone. )
Anna Marie and the children continued to live at the place until the children were all married. some years
later, Anna sold the home place and lived with her son Carl and his wife Maude, until she died on Feb. 26,
1941. She was almost 86 yrs of age. She is buried in MT. Vernon Cemetery.
Anna Marie Rettstatt Einert was one of thirteen children. a brother William G. Rettstatt was born September
12, 1863.He died april14, 1941. a sister Belle M. Rettstatt Carlilie was born January 18, 1869. and a brother
Henry A. Rettstatt born April 27, 1871.
Anna Marie Rettstatt Einert,s children Mary- married George Campbell, their children;Charles, May, Annie,
Helen, Russell,Lillie, Jewell, Ernest ( Buster), and Robbie Campbell.
Caroline had a nervous breakdown. Carl lived at Lamar, AR. his wife Mayde, Will married Elva. they had
three children; twin boys plus another son.. Henry married Florence McKay, their children Majorie and
Ewell. Minerva married Will McKay, Florence,s brother. their children: Flossie and Luther. Flossie married
? children Lacern, Bonnie and Earl. Luther had Manley and a daughter.
Percy Campbell left and was never heard from.
Bart Campbell drove a street car in Little Rock, Arkansas, Pulaski Co.

Anna Marie Rettstatt was born in Germany, March 13,1856.

Notes for ANNA MARIE RETTSTATT:
Anna Marie Rettstatt was born in Germany, March 13,1856.
Her parents moved to Pennsylvania, near Mt.Pleasant, with her and their other children when she was six
years old. Her parents told her, ( when she was older) about how near they came to losing their lives in a
storm at sea on their journey to the United States.
She married Charles August Einert in Pennsylvania on February 01, 1877
He was born in Germany and came to the United States with his father at age 21. He was educated in
Germany. All of these were members of the Lutheran Church. Charlie and Anna had seven children,
Mary, Belle,Carl, Minerva, Carolina, Willie (Will), and Henry.
Mary and Belle were born in Smithton, Pennsylvania.
while they were young children, around 1882, Charlie and Anna Marie's brothers Fred Rettstatt, were
transferred from coal mining in Pennsylvania. to Spadra mine in Johnson County,Arkansas. South of
Clarksville. This was in the early days of minimg there.
Both men moved their families there. Charlie was a machinist in the mining. Three children were born
there, maybe four. ( information scarce here). They were Carl, Minerva,. Carolina, and Willie ( Willie
may have been born after they left Sparta.
The family suffered much with malaria while they lived there. They decided to move to the foothills;
North of Clarksville. They moved to the MT. Vernon Community, where the bought homestead rights
on a farm, from a couple named LaRue. Henery Albert was born there on January 29, 1894. Charlie
Einert died in November, Thanksgiving time, that same year. Henry was ten months old. Charlie died of
pneumonia, which developed from injuries sustained when his oxen team ran away with him, while he
was hauling lumber to continue the remodeling and addition work that he was doing on their house,. He
was buried on the home place.
Anna Marie and children continued to live at the place until the children were married. Some years later,
she sold the place and lived with Carl and Maude until she died an February 26, 1941. She was almost
86 years old. She is buried in MT. Vernon Cemetery. just a few miles from the home place.
Anna Marie Rettstatt Einert was one of thirteen children, A brother William G.Rettstatt was born
September 12,1863. He died April 14, 1941. A sister, Belle M. Rettstatt, was born January 18, 1869. a
brother, Herny A.Rettstatt,was born April 27, 1871.
Anna Marie Rettstatt Einert's children: Mary -married George Campbell. =there children were Charles
Lester, May, Annie, Helen, Russell, Lillie,. Jewell, Robbie, Woodrow Earnest ( Buster) .
Caro;ine had a nervous breakdown. Carl lived at Lamar, Arkansas. His wife Maude, Will married Elva.
they had twin sons and another son. Henry married Florence McKay. Their children: Majorie and Ewell.
Minerva married Will McKay, Florence's brother. their children: Flossie and Luther.= Flossie had
Laverne, Bonnie and Earl. Luther had Manley and a Daughter.
Percy Campbell left and was never heard from. Bart Campbell drove a streetcar in Little Rock, Arkansas.

was age 24,there children Mary age 2, and Belle age 1.
Fed Census 1900 Johnson Co. Arkansas Charles had passed away. Anna ( Anah ) and Her children still
at home were; Carl 17, Manerva B. 15, Caroline B. 11, Willie ( William ) R. 9, and Henry H. 6. Henry
was a baby when Charles died.
