I'm looking for the ancestors of Susannah Oyler. We think her father was Jacob Oyler but do not know. The Hartman Homestead property came into the Hartman family from her family. Can you help me here?
Susannah1 Oyler was born Abt. December 6, 1793, and died July 1, 1874 in Age 80 yr., 6 mo., 26 days. She married Solomon Hartman, Sr., son of John Hartman and Magdelene Ritter. He was born August 30, 1788, and died July 12, 1854 in Age 65 yrs., 10 mo., 12 days.
Notes for Solomon Hartman, Sr.:
They acquired the "Home Place" from her family in 1838. See copy of deed.
Children of Susannah Oyler and Solomon Hartman are:
2 i. Barbara2 Hartman, born July 7, 1814 in Arendtsville, Adams County, PA. She married ?? Schwartz.
+ 3 ii. Jacob Hartman, died February 16, 1899.
4 iii. Mary Hartman. She married ?? Van Dyke.
5 iv. Eliza Hartman. She married Henry Beamer.
+ 6 v. Solomon Hartman, Jr., born October 26, 1823; died May 14, 1899.
7 vi. George Hartman, born 1826. He married Deliah.
8 vii. Daniel Hartman, born 1832; died 1836.
9 viii. Samuel Hartman, born 1833.
10 ix. Sara Hartman, born 1836. She married ?? Minter.
