James Clouse called your query to my attention and am so pleased. I am an Eilar descendant of Benjamin Eilar brother of your Susannah Eiler. James' wife is descended thru Benjamin's son Jacob and my grandfather was brother of Jacob whose name was John M. Eilar.
On page 193 of the book "A Genealogical History of the Eiler,Eilar,Eyler,Oyler and Associated Families," by John S. Eilar, D.D.S., privately printed, Albuquerque, NM, 1973 with additions later, begins Susannah Eiler, daughter of Samuel Eiler, Sr. Perhaps you have seen this book, recently a Doug Eilar is also searching, he is descended thru Daniel, also a brother of Susannah. Doug has an actual copy of this book, I have copies of copies, but I do have the entire book. Let me know if I can help in any way, am in touch with other descendants of Daniel and with one descended from David Eiler, another brother of Susannah. There were 11 of them. Lots of information to be had....
