I have an original carte de visite photograph of “Mrs. Eiffler”, and a Cabinet Card of “Mrs. Eiffler – a friend of Jane Stauffers” which I would like to get back to family members. Carte de visite photo was taken in Pekin (Tazewell Co.) IL in about 1870, and shows a lady about age 70. Cabinet Card was taken in Chicago, IL about 1890 and shows a lady about age 40-45.
I found an Eiffler family in the 1900 census for Evanston (Cook Co.) IL, showing Benedict Eiffler, with wife Maria. Maria was born Nov 1850 in Germany and had three children.
