Don't know the connection between your family, the other Eichorst family in Iowa County WI, and ours. There has to be a connection between these 3. Other Eichorst's in this country may, or may not be related. Your earliest ancestor is Friedrich Wilhelm Eichorst b. Mar. 1846. The other Eichorst family's ancestor William E. Eichorst b. 1843. My Eichorst ancestor (Great-Grandmother) is Pauline Ernestine (Eichorst) Seeling b. Feb. 17 1847. The birthdates are so close to each other that Marcella and I believe that they are probably siblings. Or at the least 1st. cousins.
This last summer I found out that Pauline was born in Bamberg (or Bramberg) Posen. Her husband Fredrick Seeling b. Nov. 26, 1837 was from Ludwikowo, Schubin, Posen. Both are very close to each other. Am reading some of the records on Microfilm to find a connection.
Again, Marcella came to visit my relatives and the other Iowa Co. Eichorst family as a little girl. We both wish that there was a crystal ball to find out how we are related. As soon as I have your address I'll send a copy of what I have.
