This is certainly interesting. The cemetery was Roselawn Memorial Park, now SanFernando Cemetery #3.My great uncle Walter Eichhorn is buried there.I believe that his second wife Callaway "Callie" Williamson may be buried there as well.I don't know where his first wife Lucy Belle Curd is buried though.
I had planned to visit the cemetery when I was in SanAntonio last March, but didn't get over there. If I had, I would have recorded your Eichhorn information as well, thinking they were part of my family.
I had really assumed that this was always a Catholic Cemetery and that Callie might have been Catholic and that was why they were not buried in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Castroville with some of the Eichhorn family. Now I know.
My Eichhorns have been a tuff bunch to find.Census records are really hard to find, so I don't have too many. The name was spelled everything under the sun in the index, only to find it correct on the census itself. The people or person that made the indexs must have needed corrective lenses. If it were not for the fact that they were Lutherans, I wouldn't have found anything about them. The Lutherans keep records and the church in Castroville is where I have obtained most of my information.
I will join the Eichhorn Email list at rootsweb.I am on a few others. Thanks for letting me know about it.
