Dear Mrs. Radcliff,
I am especially interested in your posting about the family of James T. Eicher. You see I am the great-great grandson of James T. Eicher. I can fill in a lot of details on what happened to him. However, I had his parents listed as John Eicher and Nancy Davis. Perhaps I have made a fundamental error as he was always listed with the this couple on the census. We need to correspond to clarify. I have James Taylor Eicher's marriage and death certificate and other records. His death certificate lists him as being born Mar. 19, 1853. This puts him before Sarah E. Eicher and John H. Brown's marriage date that you posted of April 19, 1857. The parents are listed as unknown.
I also have info relating to other family members as well as recently receiving John Eicher's Civil War and pension records which lists his children and their birthdates. Please let me know your thoughts so that we might compare our data.
