I spoke with my mom earlier this evening, and she looked up some information for me which may be helpful. She tells me George Eichenlaub had seven children, they were Michael, Valentine, Jacob, Phillip, Magdelena, Elizabeth, and Barbara.Michale married an Elizabeth Schmidt and had two children, Valentine E., born Feb 14th, 1832, and Elizabeth E.Valentine E. first married a Catherine Brandall, and they had 2 children, Amelia Eichenlaub (Bollenbacher) and Samuel who married a Carrie Miller.Later, Valentine E. married Barbara Yingling, born July 17, 1841 and they had 3 children.Elizabeth (Eichenlaub) Wilke, Mary (Eichenlaub) Strecker, and Valentine Eichenlaub, born Sept 10, 1871 in the USA, who married Alvina Sehlmeyer.Valentine and Alvina Eichenlaub were my mom's parents.
Going back to George Eichenlaub, who I believe is probably the same George you referred to, his other children were Valentine, Jakob, Phillip (who eventually died at war), Magdelena who married an Adam Goetzman, Elizabeth, and Barbara who I'm told lived in Germany.
Mom is going to send me the charts she found listing all the generations. Once I get them, it may fill in a few of the missing pieces.
