Dan, thanks for responding to my posting. I am mainly working on Catherine Hospelhorn who I found a marriage for to an Ulrich Eichenberger in Holmes Co., Ohio in 1857. I am trying to identify her parents.

I have searched the 1860 census for Ulrich Eichenberger and variant spellings and the only one I have found is the one in Paint Twp., Holmes Co., Ohio married to Gertrude with an eleven year old child. So either Ulrich died and Catherine remarried or Catherine died and Ulrich married Gertrude making her his third wife because the eleven year old child on the 1860 census could not have been Catherine's. There are only two Eichenberger families in Ohio both in Holmes Co. and both heads of household were born in Switzerland.

Do you know the location of the burial or the name of the cemetery that your Eichenberger are buried in Holmes Co.? I would like to try and check if any Hospelhorn's are buried there or a Catherine EIchenberger who died between 1857 and 1860.

Thanks and have a great day.
