I don't know if this may help, but I am a BORG descendent from Alexandria, Egypt.
My grandfather's name was Nicolas Borg and there's a lady in the Borg family named Concetta. I have her down as his daughter a and therefore she must have been born between 1885 and approx. 1902, as my grandmother, Rosalia Josephina Laurenzia was born in1904. Concetta was the daughter of the first wife (name unknown) and sister to Beniaminus and Vincenza, Rosalia of the second wife, Joanna Scerri (who was a widow with three children herself, her first husband maybe a Mallamo).
Some of them respectively their descendent emigrated to Melbourne, Australia as a matter of fact. Jeanette ??, the daughter of Vincenza Borg, married Vic Soltari. She is the mother of Maxine and Adrian and another one, whose name I have forgotten. This is what I have pieced together from the information my mother gave me.
Its a wild guess that there may be some connection, but some of my wild guesses have actually helped me further with some other lines of the family.
In any case my Concetta Borg was still alive when I was born in 1960, as I still have her good wishes ...
