family of Amato and Rizzo from early 1900s, Alexandria.

I am trying to trace two lost family lines, both Italian.

My grandfather was Nestore Rizzo, he was from Reggio di Calabria. He went to Egypt in the early 1900s and married Clelia Amato, my grandmother, who was born in Egypt to Sicilian parents. She had several sisters.

My grandparents lived in Morocco at one stage and my father, Francesco Rizzo, was born there in 1924.

My grandparents' marriage failed, and I don't know what happened to my grandfather (Nestore Rizzo). My grandmother went back to Egypt to live (from Morocco) and raised my father there.

My grandmother had a sister who was married (in Egypt) & I don't know her married name. She migrated to the USA after my father was born at some stage (post 1924). There was another sister named Luisa (maiden name Amato).

I was born in Morocco in 1963, and my mother was from Spain. I have a brother born in Morocco in 1961. We all (with my father too) migrated to South Africa in 1968, and then to Australia in 1972.
