I am searching for members of the Clampin family, from or around the St.Osyth's Essex area. My grandfather, Donald John Eggleton, remarried sometime after my grandmother died in 1966, to a woman with the last name of Clampin. Grandfather took her last name and went by the name of Jack Clampin. I am told her family was in St.Osyth's in and round the 1920-30 as he use to take my mom and her sister to visit her family when the were young. The Eggleton family also came from St.Osyth's. After he remarried , he and his wife lived in Clacton-on-Sea. He is dead now, but I have no idea when he died.
Any info is welcomed.
