Seeking information on who I might contact that would look up an obituary from Newhall California?
Katie Ellen (Cooper) Eggleston died December 27, 1970 in Newhall California, and is part of Los Angeles County. The Obituary may have been placed into the Signal Newspaper there. I'm in Illinois, and finding difficult to search for this obituary without some help. It was recorded as January 1971. I know she married four times, to: Unknown Edmunson, to: Unknown Bauer, to Unknown Chrisman and to a Unknown Egglestone. She was born May 17, 1899 in Seymour Missouri to a Joseph Cooper and Jeannie aka Virginia Ellen (Swisher) Cave.
Since I know the date of her death, and the location, I am hoping that somebody might be able to help me search the obituaries for Newhall California for me to locate her. Or, might know of her family and descendants because I am attempting to find her living descendants and need the obituary information to be able to accomplish this.
Time is important. My mother, now 83, never met or saw her grandmother, Jeannie aka Jennie Ellen (Swisher) Cave Cooper. If I can locate a descendant of Katie Ellen's, they may have a photo of Jennie they would share.
