I have just come across the name Eggleston in my family. My Eggleston is Hiram Eggleston born about 1808 in New York wife is Rachel. Their daughter Amanda married my David Gibbons who was born in Ohio. Amanda was born in New York in 1838 died in 1875 in Bronson MI which is Branch county. Hiram is in the 1870 cen. with a girl Sarah age 10. Could our Eggleston be the same family. Thank You for any help. Deb
