Mary Eggleston had 3 sisters. Harriet who married Stillwell Benjamin, Helen who married Cyrus Stratt and Hannah who married Pembroke Pierce. I have been told that Mary's father, Joseph moved to Cortland in 1822. That is all I have pertaining to my side of the Egglestons. I would take a guess and say that your Egglestons and mine were related but I do not know how....yet! I visited the Rural Cemetary in Cortland and found the following names on a monument;Joseph Eggleston(I have been told that he is the son of Asahel Eggleston), Alta D. Eggleston, Francis E. Eggleston(my line)and Eunice Eggleston. Mary Eggleston was also listed along with Edward M. Seacord, her husband and my great grandfather.
