Hi,
I am looking for more information on Harvey Eggleston born June 2
1801 in NY. Harvey married Polly White and moved to Litchfield,
Hillsdale Co., MI. I am looking for a marriage date and the
children of this couple. They were the parents of Julia Elvira
Eggleston who married William Stoddard of Litchfield MI. Julia
was born August 14 1823 in Ny and died Jue 28th in Litchfield MI
She had a Charles and Henrietta Eggleston living with her in the
1850 census. This would have been just after the death of her
mother Polly White in 1849.
Harvey is listed in the 1830 Census of Batvia NY he removed to MI
in 1835. I have found a record of Harvey Eggleston born to
Ebenezer Eggleston and Anne Kingsley of Batvia NY. Ebenezer and
Anne had the following additional children: Ebenezer 1804,
Emily 1807, Julia Sarah 1807, Anna 1808, Seymour 1809, James 1812,
and Cordelia 1815. 1830 Census lists Ebenezer Eggleston (the son)
on the same page as Harvey.
I would welcome any information on these families.
