I have a watercoloured lithograph print about 13 inches wide by 10 inches high of the ruined choir of Eggleston Abbey. The print was published in York by R Sunter in June 1855, printed by Day & Son (Lithographers to the Queen) and coloured by BD Wilson. I am unsure who the original artist was. The setting of the ruin is adjacent to a field bounded by woods. The north, east and south walls of the choir of the Abbey are all that are standing. There is no roof.
