I am also a descendant of Bygod Eggleston through his son Joseph, then Joseph Jr. then Isaac. After that our line splits. I am trying to find more information about the two Josephs, who and when they married, etc. Do you have any of this info?

I found an article in "The American Genealogist" Oct. 1994, Vol 69 No.4 p. 193 which gives newly discovered information about Bygod's mother. They question a direct connection with the Bigod family. You might want to check it out.

I also am confused about Bygod's wifes. What data do you have about them?
