Seek parentage of Esther Eggleston, born abt. 1778 who mar. Nathan Crandall, born abt. 1772. Nathan age 78 & Esther age 72 in 1850 Federal Census in Taylor, Cortland Co., NY with their daughter, Nancy 1818-1904 (Mrs. Benjm. Neff Sr.) and family. Esther's maiden name from Nancy's death record in 1904.

Nancy had two sisters in Taylor, NY: Jane, b.c. 1813 m. Luther Neff Jr. (bro of above Benjm); and Rececca, b.c. 1815 m. Aaron Oliver. Crandalls lived in Greene & Otsego Counties before coming to Taylor, NY.
