Searching for the parents of Lucy A. Eccleston. According to the 1850 Census of Washington Co., RI, she was Lucy A. Slocum, 26, wife of Latham L. Slocum, 30. he is listed as a farmer. There are two children listed Horace L. 6, male, & Sarah L., 4 female (my ancestor.) None of the Lucy's or Lucy A.'s in the New London Co., CT or Washington Co., RI that I have been able to find would have been 26 years old in 1850. I sure could use some help on this one!!!
