Seeking information on the Egglestons associated with
"Egglestons," which passed to my ancestor George C. Richardson
in 1845 "by will of Frances Eggleston." Who was Frances? Is
there any truth to the story that the mother of George
Richardson's wife Frances was an Eggleston herself or a Green
who was the daughter of an Eggleston? According to Martha
McCartney's "James City County, Keystone of the Commonwealth,"
"Egglestons" was once part of Powhatan, also owned by Egglestons.
