I am also a descendant of Bigod/Bygod Eggleston, and there is some VERY good reading out there on his jumbled parentage. I have Margaret Harker as his mother per Search For The Passengers Of The Mary & John 1630 Volume 25 New Ancestral Discoveries - Part 1, pp 83-85. The research was furthur work by Dr. Rosalie Eggleston and Linda Eggleston McBroom. This book is available from The Mary & John Clearing House. No links to the Bigods. As a descendant of Edward III from another branch, I'm curious about the links to the Pharoahs of Egypt. I have temporarily put my tree to rest at Cerdic and some far back Scots...wasn't sure where to find more legit stuff. Sure wouldn't mind having more, and will share what I have...
