Hi Mark,
Very interesting that you say that you have a link to Egginton's in Birmingham, as my Grandfather married a woman from the Mansfield area in the early 1900's. His name was George Jullian Egginton and she was a Elizabeth Burrows. It is believed that George met her when visiting family.
