Martin Eggers, born December 1865 in Germany, immigrated in 1881, a farmer, is listed as single. Also on the page, but different household, is a Hans Eggers, born September 1863 in Germany, also a farmer (perhaps a relative). 1910 US Census, Washington Twp., Page County, IA. Martin Eggers, a farmer, age 44, born in Germany is shown with wife Elisa, age 44, born in Germany. The record shows they had been married 8 years. Martin’s immigration year shown as 1882 and his wife’s as 1902. Hans Eggers, age 46, born in Germany, single, again appears on the same page – though a different household. This family appears in Washington, Page County, IA in the 1925 State of Iowa Census. amount of information it provides. Martin Eggers, age 59, husband, born in Germany Lizzie Eggers, age 41, wife, born in Germany Anna Eggers, age 13, daughter, born in Iowa Rudolf Eggers, age 7, son, born in Iowa Martin and Lizzie are shown as having been married in New York and her name is listed as Lizzie Momm (Not sure of the surname - hard to read). 1930 US Census, Washington Twp, Page County, IA. Eggers, born 12 Oct 1911 and died 30 July 1986 in Albuquerque, NM. This tree shows she married Earnest L. Reinert on 31 January 1930 in Shenandoah, Iowa. He died 27 October 1976 in Albuquerque.
