I am looking for any information on the members of this family. They were early settlers in Colorado. I have seen the name spelled both ways. My grandmother's mother, Josephine W. Egger, married into the Scherrer (aka Schwer) family who moved to Colorado from Iowa. Josephine W.'s father was John Egger, born in Austria around 1940 though I have seen some family trees that cite a John Egger born in Switzerland with the same children. There is also a Josephine L. Egger in the family line. So far I haven't been able to sort this all out.
