I've just begun researching my GGgrandmother's history. She married a Russell Stewart Johnson approximately 1860. She died in 1878. They had:

William Oscar Johnson 1870-1959
Frank S. Johnson
Lennie Johnson (Grimes)

William Oscar was born in Freestone Co.,Texas. I was told that they came from Georgia but I can't confirm this as yet. Any possible connection would be great to discover. Thanks, Melinda
