Hello Michelle. I received your message. I also saw that GAil was looking for a Sarah Eggy. Anyway, as far as the letter is concerned, I lost it a long time ago and have been looking for it ever since. I don't think I will find it. I believe that the gentleman in the picture was William J. I could not find a William J. in your genealogy. Anyway, Ralph's wife's name was Irene Frances Smith Egge. She was in an orphanage so do not know anything about her except she may have been a nun at one time. They had Althea Wagner Egge Haines, George William Egge, Dean LeRoy Egge and my father-in-law, Wilford Eugene Egge. Oh, I just found something I had in my records. I have been finding things about many other names in our families recently but had not had time to really digest what I have or put it in order. On Larry's Genealogy Research in Ancestry.com, it states that RalphThomas Egge's father was William J. Egge and Ralph's mother's name was Amelia Wagner. It says for more info, contact Larry. I think it can be found under Larry's Genealogy Research. I will check it again later. Anyway, maybe this Larry has a lot more info. than I do. I really do not have that much. Are all Egge's from Norway and then went to Germany? Do you know that info.? Looking forward to talking to you again. Rose
