Hello Kevin, Good to hear from you regarding those elusive Egar's/Eagar's/Eager's! You say William Henry Egar, I had a look at the death record and the spelling of his name is EAGER, he was 41 years old when he died, is that correct. Who were his parents?
I had a William SINFIELD Eager born in 1872, his parents were John Egar and Sarah Victoria Seymour from Bombala. My William just vanished along with his father and his sister Florence Emily Eager and a younger brother George Seymour Eager. Even though their father spelt his name Egar the registry spelt it EAGER. I looked for your William's birth in 1870 and could find no William born then, where was he born?
The Egar/Eagar/Eager family is not overly large and so I just gave up on my lot.
Was your grandmother Clara Scholz and they married in Albury?
Email me at email@example.com I would like to talk to you on this subject. Lu
