My Great-Grandfather was Patrick Egan, who had initially settled in Lincoln, NE in 1882 with his wife and 14 children, which included my Grandfather, Brendan Phillip. Additionally the only other sibling names I know of at this time are Frances, Cormac, and Mary. I'm hoping to receive some additional info on all the siblings via snail mail from another individual I made contact with on this site.
Check out my original posting on this site entitled "Descendents of Patrick Egan (1841-1919)" posted on 5/24/99. It may be possible that your Dan Egan is a sibling of my Grandfather's. Do you have any other specifics (ie. dates, cities, relatives)?
