I am researching William John EGAN (1880-1932) who was born in Grey Co., Ontario, married 1902 in Algoma District, Ontario, to Laura E. McCUTCHEON (1881-1966), and then moved to Detroit. They had one son.
The next generation was William EGAN born 1839 in Simcoe Co., Ontario, married 1866 in Durham, Ontario, to Frances G. PHILLIPS (1852-1910+), and he died in Detroit, too. His parents were John & Mary, but from there things get even more sketchy. I would love to compare notes with others.
