In hard copy of Revolutionary War Rolls of Vermont Soldiers I have the payroll data for John Ells who served in Capt. George Sexton's Co. of Volunteers belonging to Col. Ebenr Walbridge's Regiment, raised for the defence of the Frontiers the State of Vermont, Manchester, Dec. 20, 1781.

There are 5 pages for Waterman Ells [Eells]; his payroll data appears to be that of a Private.

Also, I have short military data for
Thomas W. ELLES and Doctor O.J. EELLS of Cornwall, Addison Co., VT.

They were not my ancestors.
Happy searching,
