I am looking for the father of Everett Edwards b. 1799-1800 in Va. He was married to Catherine b. 1800
Children :
Wm. H Edwards b. abt 1822 Va.
Mariah b. abt.1830 Va.
Mills b. abt 1833 Va. (my gggfather)
I would be thrilled to find out any information on any of the Everett Edwards, Mills Edwards or William Edwards family to help me find out who Everetts father was.
Everett, Catherine, Mariah, Mills are on 1850 census in edgecombe co N.C
Everett, Catherine, Wm., Belfry (Delphia Ann Howard), Jonus, Fred, and Penina, Mill, Candis, Wm & Manerva are on the 1860 census in Neuse River, Johnston, NC.
In 1860 Census, the three families were landowners in East of the Neuse River district Township. They were in Dwelling house 860, 861, and 862. Many of Williams kids were buried in Wilson Co. but I have yet to find where William H or Everett and Catherine are buried.
I know Everett owned land on Earpsboro rd in Johnston Co in 1860 but must have died between 1860 and 1870.
Mills E and Emily Candis are listed on the 1870 census in Nansemond, Va. Holy Neck. Later moved to Virginia and then Arkansas where my relatives lived. I believe it is possible that Everett and Catherine died after the 1860 census. I do not find William again either. Delphia and children are listed on the 1870 census in Upper Town Creek, Edgecombe.
I would appreciate any help...I am stumped.
