I hope someone can help me.
I'm seeking more information about the family of Winifred Helen EDWARDS, both originally from England, who married my ancestor James Hugh Sibbald Grant GORDON [he sometimes hyphenated his surname to Grant-Gordon]at St Pauls, Minnesota 5.4.1913.
The couple later marriage again at the Registry Office in Kensington, London, England on 7.6.1927 and I have a copy of the certificate.
She was born 1882 and was the daughter of William Edwards who was recorded on the certificate as a 'Land Owner, deceased'. Her husband was then aged 66 and a retired Captain in the Royal Horse Artillery. They had one daughter: Winifred Edith Maud Olive Grant Gordon, born 1914 in Fulham, London and she died u/m in n1949 in London.
I am keen to discover more about William Edwards and his family and if there are any Edwards descendants. Any information at all would be greatly appreciated!!
