My ggggf Thomas Edwards was born about 1789 in Virginia, according to several Indiana censuses. They also show his mother was born in Scotland, father in VA. I do not know their names, nor any actual VA location for certain. Might be Fauquier County. Does anyone have an Edwards wife in their records who was identified as born in Scotland, about the mid 1700's, who might be his mother? I think this link to a mother born in Scotland is the most likely way to connnect him to a previous generation for starters. Thomas himself was married for the first time about 1809 in KY.
