Looking for information on Capt.(mariner)John Edwards. His birth location, recorded in Salem, Mass. vital record as "on the Rappahannock, Virginia" He married May 9,1770 at Salem, Mass, Elizabeth Fiske and died at Salem, April 10, 1807. He may have had some connection to Ann and/or Elizabeth Gill who may have been sisters. Ann married Asa Brooks at Salem and Elizabeth married Samuel Brooks at Salem. Asa and Samuel were brothers. Would like John Edwards birth date and parents.
