I have a copy of the Edson Family History and Genealogy and can verify some info for you.....
Deacon Samuel Edson was baptized in Fillongley, Warwichshire England on 9-5-1613. He married in Warwickshire in 1638, Susanna Orcutt born about 1618. Her parents are unknown. They had 8 children:
Susanna born about 1640
Sarah born about 1641
Elizabeth born about 1643
Samuel born about 1645
Mary born about 1647
Joseph born about 1649
Josiah born about 1651
Bethiah born about 1653
Samuel died 7-19-1692 in what is now West Bridgewater MA and Susanna died 2-20-1699 there. His story is very interesting and too long to type here.
Joseph Edson born about 1649 Married about 1678 Experience Holbrook born 5-23-1661 in Weymouth MA, daughter of John Holbrook and Elizabeth Stream. She died 11-2-1686 and he married 2nd time 11-2-1686 in Bridgewater to Mary Turner, daughter of George Turner and Mary Robbins. (We are cousins as I come down from his son Josiah!)

Josiah born 1682
Experience born 9-6-1685, died young
Children by Mary Turner:
Benjamin born 1687
Samuel born 8-28-1689
Mary born 1691
Susanna born 1693
Timothy born March 1694.
Joseph served as a colonel in King Phillip's War. He was one of the proprietors of Bridgewater.
Benjamin Edson born 1687 married 7-14-1715 Joanna Orcutt, daughter of William Orcutt and Jane Washburn (She was a decendant of Francis Cooke of the Mayflower) He died in Bridgewater of 5-13-1758 and she died the same year.

Jacob born 4-16-1722, prob died young
WIlliam born 2-4-1724
Seth born 4-24-1726

Joanna born 9-9-1733
Abigail born 3-22-1736
Seth Edsonborn 4-24-1726 Bridgewater married about 1749 Irene Howard born about 1728. They lived in Stafford CT. (There is no info on her parents, however she MAY be the sister of Martha Howard who married Seths brother William.)

Levi born 3-27-1752
Joanna born 9-13-1754
Rhoda born 3-1-1757
Benjamin born 1-26-1759
Seth born 1-12-1761
Irene born 10-7-1765 died 8-5-1766 Stafford CT
I am sorry but that is all I have. There is no more info on Rhoda.....
