I’m terribly sorry for taking so long to give you the information you requested regarding the German line of Edoms. (Spelling of name varies.)

I found the following German records on LDS microfiche:

And I have more. The Edom records I found go back to Samuel Edom, 1721 in Germany. That was the earliest I found, but that was only during one search.
There is also another family of German Edoms who reside in Arkansas (I think some are in California), and they also descend from the same line referred to above. His name is Herbert Edom of Searcy, Arkansas.
