Found in the newspaper, Raleigh Register (weekly) Oct. 24, 1845:

Married in Wake Co., NC, on Oct. 23, Rufus W. EDMUNDSON, Esq,. of Stantonsburg, NC to Miss Caroline WILDER, dau. of Col. Hillary Wilder.
