I will keep an eye out for your names-There wasn't a whole lot of Selection in who you could marry in the mid 1700s-So many wed first cousins or neighbors children etc. --My Elizabeth could be the daughter of Thomas edmundson of Halifax Co. --she wed David Downs before 1806 ( She gave up her" Dower Rights "in that year-( Since she had Dower Rights she may also have been a widow before she wed David Downs.)But The land she gave up at one time belonged to Bryant Edmundson --I believe that she might have gone to Morgan Co. Ga.,Ga. with her Brother in Law( William Downs ) and his family -OR she and David may have gone somewhere else!The land of David Downs that was given at his fathers deathwas later sold ( Also I see "NO SIGN" OF Elizabeth or David in Halifax Co. after 1806..--We just have to keep searching!!-Good Luck.--Llewellyn
