My great grandfather, Thomas Jefferson Edmondson b.1838 had a pic of Mary Polly Belcher on his parlor wall and his daughter called her "Aunt Polly Belcher". Thomas and his known sister Rebecca Edmondson b.@1833 state their parents were born in SC.
Descendants of Polly Belcher state that Polly is from the Bryant Edmundson family originally from NC. Does anyone know the connection?
1850 Randolph Co., Al.Cencus lists:
Martha Edmondson----50

Thomas--------------12
Could someone look in the 1840 Cencus for Georgia for these people for me, please. They could possibly be in Coweta or Troupe Co.s ,also some think they possibly may be from Morgan Co.
Some of these may be grandchildren and may possibly include a James and/or a John.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!
