Dear Jane,

You are correct --Joseph is the only one of these siblings that emigrated to Allegheny Co. As you can see from the earlier notes, one of his in-laws thought he "died a wicked man"! However, one of John B.'s (brother to this Joseph) grandsons, Eli Edmundson (son of Joseph), migrated to Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., where his children were born and remained. So the descendents of Joseph and John are comingled in the Allegheny census records in the mid to late 1800's. And the Edmundsons were prolific, so there are many. Some I've still not untangled yet!
