Sorry, Betty, I don't know where to find that book. There were two books on the Edmundson family at the Friends Library at Swarthmore though. One was called "Lineal and Collateral Descendants of the Edmundson Family" by Josephine Fulton Schug, and the other was "The Family of Thomas and Elizabeth Morsell Edmundson" by Morsell Edmundson.
The latter book says the following about your William: "Where William went has never been proven beyond a reasonable dougt. Some reports say he may have gone to New York." There's no mention of his wife or childrens' names.
The former says this: "William b. 1737, d. 1821, Jefferson Co., AL"
That's it from those books.
