I have an original Cabinet Card photograph of “Violet (Strand) Edmunds”, which I would like to get back to family members. Photo was taken in about 1905, in La Harpe (Hancock Co.) IL, and Violet looks to be about age 6.
I found Violet Strand in the 1900 census for Terre Haute (Henderson Co.) IL, as age 1, born Feb 1899 in IL, daughter of Gust and Charlotte Strand. Gust Strand was born in Sweden. In the 1930 census for Durham Twp (Hancock Co.) IL, she was Violet Edmunds, wife of Gene Edmunds, age 30, born IL, showing her father born Sweden.
