Charles William Edmonstone was the 2nd son of Sir G.F. Edmonstone, KCB< Lieut-Governor of the N.W. Provinces of India. Charles W. Edmonstone was born in Calcutta, India in 1852. He went to Eton College from 1866 - 1872. He went on to Trinity College Cambridge and died unmarried in 1878. If you have any information on Charles W. or Sir G.F. Edmonstone please contact me at
